How to get there

From Rome, it is possible to reach the areas by car.

The Acque Rosse Pinewood can be reached by taking the Via del Mare as far as Ostia Antica, and turning off at the Viale dei Romagnoli (this is parallel to Via del Mare: from here you can see the estate, on the right after the "ex Meccanica Romana" (actually it is a Cinema). From Ostia Lido the Pinewood can easily be reached on foot.

The Procoio Estate can be easily reached either by taking the Via del Mare or the Via Cristoforo Colombo, both of which lead into the Viale di Castel Fusano (coming from Via del Mare, at the Ostia Antica traffic light, or at the last traffic light in Via Cristoforo Colombo) which runs along the entire length of the Estate.  The Estate can also be reached via cultivated coutryside, by taking the Via di Pianabella (Ostia Antica).  From Ostia Lido (Stella Polare area) the Estate can easily be reached on foot.

Furthermore, the Estate can be reached by train.  The train to Ostia leaves from the PIRAMIDE Station and passes through the MAGLIANA Station (platform 3).  You can get off of the train either at LIDO CENTRO or STELLA POLARE (only for the Procoio Estate).
